She might be relatively new to Home and Away.But things are certainly heating up in Summer Bay for Sam Frost. The former Bachelorette was spotted on Tuesday at Sydney's Palm Beach, filming some steamy scenes for the show, with co-star Jake Ryan.  Scroll down for video  Sam was dressed in white and beige high-waisted shorts with a blue lace singlet top, that was tied up in a knot.  The blonde had her hair out and over her shoulders, and wore natural looking makeup. Her co-star Jake meanwhile, was dressed in a black singlet and dark trousers, with runners.  The pair were pictured walking along the beach and holding hands, before smooching.  Sam and Jake are believed to be good friends outside of the show - with the actor reportedly giving Sam tips on how to deal with the pressures of fame.'Jake has been giving Sam advice on how to deal with the negativity, which comes with starring on such a huge show,' a source told Woman's Day last October.The insider added: 'They often catch up off screen and really make each other laugh.'  Last July, Channel Seven made the announcement that Sam would be joining Home and Away as a permanent cast member. In January, Sam spoke about the backlash of joining Home and Away, when speaking to TV WEEK.  'I can understand why people would say, "hang on, isn't that the chick from The Bachelorette, and now she's going to be in Home and Away?,'' Sam said. She added: "But people don't see the months of gruelling hard work I did in the lead-up to it."

He won an army of fans for his role as role as hapless Assistant to the Regional Manager Gareth Keenan in comedy classic The Office.But Mackenzie Crook was worlds away from his comedy days on Tuesday as he transformed into a scary druid to film Roman epic Britannia.The 46-year-old actor sported the incredible facial makeup and mystical robes to film scenes on location as the magical druid Veran, after the Sky Atlantic series received a second series order in March. During the filming Mackenzie can be seen sporting a bald cap and pale white prosthetic makeup as he transformed into the magical character Veran, sporting a blood covered face as he appeared to be involved in a conflict of sorts.  In history past druids have been known for their close proximity to nature, and so it was inevitable that such scenes would be filmed deep in the forest.Britannia made a huge splash earlier this year when it premiered on Sky Atlantic in the UK, co-starring David Morrisey, Kelly Reilly and Nikolaj Lie Kaas. The series tells the tale of the Romans famous conquering of Britain in AD 43, showing the Celts fruitless attempts to protect their land, with two rival tribes coming together against the Italian enemy.Mackenzie's appearance comes following reports that he is set to take on the role talking scarecrow Worzel Gummidge in a TV revival - 37 years after the late Jon Pertwee last played the iconic children's character.A source told MailOnline last month: 'Mackenzie Crook is currently in the very early stages of developing a contemporary adaptation of Barbara Euphan Todd’s original Worzel Gummidge books as a new TV series for the BBC.'  Separate sources told The Sun: 'Mackenzie has been working on this for some time. He’s written most of the script and pitched it to the BBC who were keen and are now officially on-board.'It is not a continuation of the old story.
